First-Time Setup
App Tour
When you first open Luqa, you'll see an interactive tour explaining key features:
- Visit Management - Learn how to invite and track guests
- Notifications - See how to stay updated on community events
- Security & Alerts - Understand how to report emergencies
- Your Digital Home - Explore your profile and home information
Swipe through each screen to learn about Luqa. You can skip the tour anytime by tapping "Skip" or complete it by tapping "Done" on the final screen.
Verify Your Account
After logging in for the first time, you may need to verify your account:
- You'll receive an SMS with a verification code
- Enter this code in the verification screen
- Tap "Verify"
Your account is now active!
Update Your Password (if required)
On your first login, you may be prompted to change your password:
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password (at least 8 characters, mix of letters and numbers)
- Tap "Update Password"
Your new password is now set. Use it for all future logins.
Complete Your Profile
Once logged in:
- Go to Settings (bottom navigation)
- Tap Personal Info
- Add/update your:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
- Home block and number
Your profile is now complete and visible to security personnel if needed.
Enable Notifications (Recommended)
To receive important alerts and updates:
- Go to Settings → Notifications → Device Settings
- Allow notification permissions when prompted
- Customize which notifications you want:
- Alerts notifications
- Announcement notifications
- Visit notifications
